Yoga is one of the best ways to manage both long-term mood difficulties and acute bouts of anxiety
and depression. Most of us feed our depressive or anxious feelings by trying to get rid of them.
However, if you are aware of your emotions and WANT to be free from suffering, yoga can help you
accept yourself and surrender to what is. From this place, you become available to experience the
peace and joy that already exists within.
In a safe and accepting environment, you will learn and practice:
Asanas that are known to shift the brain’s chemistry and lift anxiety and depression
Pranayama and kriya breathing techniques that support the emotions
Meditation for acute bouts of low feelings
Affirmations that reorganize your thoughts
Relaxation to quiet your nervous system
Hypnotic Restorative Yoga

Co-taught with Britt Fohrman (www.brittfohrman.com)
This exciting new practice, called HypnoYoga, combines hypnosis and restorative yoga, bringing you to a whole new level of healing relaxation.
During this workshop, Britt Fohrman will instruct you through a sequence of restorative yoga poses, while Rachel Yellin,
a certified Hypnotherapist and yoga teacher, guides you into a deep hypnotic state for the sole purpose of bringing you the exact type of
healing that your whole body needs. You must experience this to truly understand how powerful it is.
If you are new to hypnosis, it is a naturally induced state of relaxed concentration whereby the subconscious mind is open and receptive to suggestion.
While in hypnosis, a person is fully aware of his/her surroundings and completely in control of him/herself.
This class will only use suggestion hypnosis to create the desired healing response that each person chooses.
If you are new to restorative yoga, this practice uses supported poses, breath awareness and simple meditation techniques to restore health and vitality
to the body and mind. Deep relaxation assists the body's natural ability to cleanse, heal, rest, sleep, grow, conceive and build immunities.
This workshop is open to yogis of all backgrounds, levels, sizes and ages. No yoga experience is necessary.
The deep surrender cultivated here is incredibly useful for pregnant women preparing for birth, women trying to get pregnant, new parents,
people with chronic illnesses, headaches, and discomfort, as well as people that tend to nurture everyone but themselves.

Practicing specific yoga postures stimulates and tones the reproductive system, enhances the flow
of energy and circulation through the body, and balances hormone levels by improving endocrine
function. Yoga helps reduce stress, anxiety, depression, all of which can accompany, and exacerbate
fertility challenges.
This workshop is designed for women/men and couples who are trying to conceive either naturally or
through assisted reproductive technology.
Yoga for Fertility helps prepare your body and mind for conception and pregnancy.
In this workshop you'll practice:
Breathing to bring prana (life energy) to reproductive organs
Mantra Meditation to focus your mind on what you want
Postures for circulation and hormone balancing
Hypnotic Relaxation specific for Fertility
