HypnoBirthing

Back to Main Page

HypnoBirthing is a method of natural childbirth preparation that teaches pregnant women and their partners techniques of hypnosis, guided imagery, visualization, and special breathing in order to have a more manageable birth. This preparation promotes a deeper connection between partners, joyful anticipation of the birth experience, and a dramatic increase in the belief that birth is normal, natural, and safe.

You will learn

  • relaxation and self-hypnosis techniques to strengthen your confidence, calm your body and mind, and increase your comfort during birth.
  • the body's natural process during labor in order to work with your body instead of against it.
  • how to reduce or eliminate the fear and pain that unnecessarily accompany birth.
  • to use affirmations to promote a positive response in your birthing body.
